R35 because you could drive it... Why would you want a car you couldn't drive LEGALLY on the streets.

If you take the legality factor out of it.. which is what the OP was intending for this post...

I would take the R34 hands down.

I think R34 is more attractive. I think the R34 is an enthusiast car rather than a show off car. See this video for what I mean - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghviHeqCWLUI think the R34 can be worked on in my own garage without Nissan's computer systems. I think the R34 has more potential if money was unlimited. I think the R34 has better feel based on a manual trans vs. an auto. You don't have to pay Nissan after you take it to the track. You don't have anybody looking over your shoulder threatening to void your warranty if you race it.

The 09GTR is amazing but special it is not. It significantly raised the bar for sports cars but a base for a tuner it will never be. Any moron with 90k will have one. The engine, the driveline, the entire vehicle is designed on the knife edge of maximum ability. If I wanted a turnkey monster then I would undoubtedly buy the 09 GTR but I want something that is the base platform for a monstrous vehicle that takes three pages of one line trademarked names to begin to explain its potential and no one but me knows the blood sweet and hard work that went into building it. Without a question the only racing platform… the last true GTR, the R34.

R34 hands down, you can't beat the looks of the R34 love the car will always want one. But we have the 15 year rule in Canada,so I'll have to settle for my R32 for now.

I love the new GT-R but, it would bother me that i could have such an amazing car and not be able to modify or make it my own in any way other then putting on a new exhaust.

R-34 because of its potential, and it's just a damn sexy car

Devine intervention, mostly.

Nah, just kidding. We talk about and bash wannabe importers that are looking for some quick cash then haul a** while the gettins good.

You can find what you want out there, just be sure you know the possible risks involved before spending large sums of money on a car that is actually only worth a fraction of what you would pay for it in the states.

I work at a Nissan dealership in Delaware and there is so many outrageous hidden costs to the car. Oil change alone is 600$, if something happens to 1 tire they have to replace them all and theyre about 400$ a piece. 1 brake pad goes out they have to replace the whole brake system which is about 1600. Since its the only street car you can take to the track and not void the warranty, you have to take the car back after the event to get checked and thats about 800

r34 no questions asked. fully manual transmission, traditional rb26dett engine, and IMO alot more potential.
