Well,

I created this name back in October when I was going to start the "sil80" conversion, but then dropped it for the R32 skyline project.

Due to some unforseen problems, that also is now scrapped indefinitely. I got rid of just about everything to help my parents with over $12k in hospital bills.

The CA is gone, R32 clip - gone, so is R33 gtr body panels, and my de is gone. I'm back to stock single cam KA and auto transmission w/78k miles on it - I even sold my damn wing.

I am probably gonna buy my friends DE (that was in his 240 before the SR swap) next week. He told me he'd give me engine, 5sp. transmission, ecu, and wiring harness for $150.

But, I don't expect or want any money back from my parents, so god knows how long it will be until I can restart my skyline conversion. I started this whole project back in September so I would have a year to get ready for NOPI nationals, but so much for that... {sigh}

Thats sucks but you have to help family because they will always be there to help you. My friend was in a similar situation and gave his old house to his parents. There will be other days. Time to start saving again.

how'd you rack up $12,000 in hospital bills? as long as they're/you're ok that's what important. at least you have your priorities.

you are a better person than most out there bro. keep the faith. all things happen for a reason. hell two years ago someone stole $5000 from me and stole my car pretty much for over a year. look where i am now, making crap loads of money, doing everything i have ever wanted to do to my 240. the whole project from tear down to completion is only going to take 3-4 months, in what normally takes people years to do.

Hey man, when i was going through some rough times people told me, "when you give from your heart you will get back ten times that." Now, that doesnt mean you will get back 10 times $12,000 dollars. But you will find yourself getting things you never thought you would, Like JayPat said. Good things will happen, although you might not see it right away, if you just take it day by day, eventually you will see many good things coming your way you never thought possible.

Yeah, everything happens for a reason. Just be patient. Im sorta in a situation right now. My car is down for the moment and I dont have any money to get it fixed nor is anyone in my family willing to help me out with my car because they dont understand/agree/like it.

i appreciate it all.

My mom racked up $12k - and thats after the insurance paid, from having cancer 3 different times.

I mean there will always be a NOPI next year and the year after, but your parents won't always be around, ya know...

Don't get me wrong you guys, I'll still be at the meets and nopi shows, my car might look like sh*t and not run right, but i'll be there...
