I'm currantly running 3.5psi on stock injectors in my 96 KA24DET and I was wondering if 440cc injectors from a Skyline GTR will fit into the stock fuel rail on a KA24DE. I do have a Walbro fuel pump installed. And I'm getting a HKS S-AFR to control fuel... Goal is around 8-10 PSI

No they will not. The GTR injectors are top feed. You can use sr20det injectors that are 370cc, should be good to 8-9psi.

I didn't know GTR's were top feed 440cc...are they expensive? Are they a direct plugin for the SOHC, which IS top feed?

sil80drifter: i think they do plug right into the Ka24e. I know some Ca18det people running them, and Ca18det injectors are drop in for the Ka24e. I have never seen them for sale, but i wouldn't think they would be cheap.

For free? (wouldn't think so but that would be very nice of you :D )

BTW: Silvia Spec R Injectors are side feed 480cc injectors that drop right into the stock fuel rail.

well now it's five but that still leaves enough for a four banger. They are 444cc low impedace top feed. I can procure a set of 370cc CA18DET one quite readily as well.

someone said the KA24E is high impedance 13.8 top feed, are the CA18DET injectors high impedance?

What about Supra TT injectors? They are side feed and ~550cc.

themadscientist,So those GTR Injectors will work for my KA24E? I'm in need of some new injectors. What's the price you selling them for? For a whole set of 4?

I've never seen a KA24 so you would have to tell me, your car would have to use top feed injectors minimum and low impedance would be prefered but with the pathetic size of the OE ones it's likely high impedance. If that is the case you would need to wire in a resistor but I can send you one of those as well. I'll take $180.00 to your door and I'll throw the fifth one in free(what am I going to do with one?) If you need the resistor I will butcher a CA18 harness and send you the resistor with the wiring and give you a diagram of how to wire it in for an extra $20.00

Like I said they are top feed, I have never worked on a KA24 so I have no idea if they will work on your car, is your engine top or side feed?

Grey240, TMS is in Japan. They don't have our motor over there. I'm not sure if he's ever even seen one but in a picture. Also, I'm about 90% sure that the GTR topfeeds will work just fine for you. Get the resistors and the diagram. It'll save you trouble and it's worth $20. One day, when I have a motor, I plan on getting skyline injectors too. One day.......

Ok I found a picture of the SOHC manifold, it's topfeed. You guys have what 260cc injectors stock right? The GT-R ones should drop right in, I wish I had one to try it on so I could be absolutely positive. Send me an email grey if you want em.:)

Went junkyard hopping yesterday and guess what I tripped over? KA24E, freaky man:eek: It had white or pink top feeds, your all good Grey they look interchangeable like a mofo. I almost bought the thing just so I can tear it apart and understand it better.

TMS, what in the heck was that motor in? I'm very suprised to hear that. I was under that impression that was a strictly North American motor. I suppose I could be wrong though. Still weird......

no we have them here in some trucks and minivans, this one was set up for a FWD car of some kind. When I tell Japanese guys what the 180SX comes with in the states they always say "why the hell would Nissan do that"?

Well there is an easy answer for that. North American Nissan had serious misconceptions about what we Americans want in a car. They thought that we liked torque monsters. But they were wrong.

Man if I had more then 5 more months I'd buy that damn KA and slap it in a 180 and boost the damn thing till she was about to explode. Just to smoke a few SR's with it. A really nice torquey NA engine is an animal on boost. Its like a 4 cylinder version of the 389.

God I can't wait to get home and clear this damn JDM fever thing up.
