Hello, I am 17 years old looking into buying a GTS-T ( 1990 ). I was curious about the AWD on these cars, is there an in car switch to put it in RWD or FWD? or is that all aftermarket ? also, do these cars have HICAS ( all wheel steering?) Thanks alot.

GTS-Ts are RWD. GT-Rs and GTS-4s are 4WD. You can buy after market torque split controllers. For an R32 you can pull a fuse and instant RWD.

Hey kid I own what you want but mine is a 1991. Its called a GTS4 there is another GTS4 selection but the Rb20 powered one is the only turbo version.

It is AWD but not continous like the STI's or the Evo's. It distributes balance throughout all 4 wheels during troubling situations. It uses the same clutch and transmission as the GTR but a diffrent gear box IE same ish diffrent shorter gears. It has HICAS but YOU DONT WANT IT!!! but it uses the ATTESSA system just like the GTR. Its a good buy. Also there is a relay located under the hood. Pull it out and unplug your battery to reset your ECU and now your car will become RWD so you get the best of both worlds.

You share the same suspension as the GTR as well so be weary if your money is low I am in Japan so this stuffs cheap I MEAN CHEAP I got Cusco Comp 1 suspension for 300 bucks and I was trying to go lower.

Get your self a boost controller go to 1 bar (14.7psi) and have some fun if you have any questions hit me up...

As far as I know the GTS-T wasn't all wheel drive. That option only game on the GTS-4. And it's a selective AWD only kicking in when torque requires it. I actually have a GTS-4 and there is an extra gauge on the dashboard for the front wheel drive torque. Hope this helps.

I didn't know about the relay in the engine compartment though. Awesome info! If you happen to have any diagrams on which relay, I would be indebted to you. Thanks again,Scram
