Hi All,

There is a Skyline GT-R R34 V-spec that I have my eye on and its in mint condition (got it checked by my mechanic). Everything's great except that the max speed it has is 180KPH (110MPH). Now I'm pretty sure there is a cluster swap for the 320KPH dash, but I have no idea where to look?

Also, would this deactivate the limiter?

Any info would be much appreciated!

-Mike.

Speaking out of common sense, changing the cluser will not remove the speed limiter as it is set by the ECU to cut fuel when the speedometre reaches a certain point, and then to renable fuel once again when it drops. To remove hte speed limiter on an r34 you will most likely need to install stand alone fuel management like MegaSquirt, or whatever else you can get your hands on . After that, Happy tuning :D.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the money

Or, go the cheaper route...HKS speed cut defencer.

¥5,400 yen out the door at most places around here.
