Hi All,

There is a Skyline GT-R R34 V-spec that I have my eye on and its in mint condition (got it checked by my mechanic). Everything's great except that the max speed it has is 180KPH (110MPH). Now I'm pretty sure there is a cluster swap for the 320KPH dash, but I have no idea where to look?

Also, would this deactivate the limiter?

Any info would be much appreciated!

-Mike.

HEy welcome to NICO. I am not really a big answer know it all person but check it out... i own a nissan s13 and there is a wire in my ECU that can deactivate only the speed governor the speedomitor still works, it wont affect that, it only allows you to continue your speed like you want it to. so the answer is yeah, you can override that, just wait for the actual nissan tech to explain more

No to the changing the cluster to kill the governor. The best way is to have the ecu tweaked and get that pulled. Cutting wires and stuff like what I've seen some s13 owners do leads to other problems. If you've got the cash to cough up for an r34, then you've enough cash to cough up a little more to get the speed governor pulled and the ecu tuned to get more fun out of it.
