So, we seem to have some regular members that are posting in here now, but we only seem to know you by your handle. Let's put a name to your face and a brief background into your car history.

Name: Neal

I have owned 3 other Nissans prior to my GT-R. All have been great cars, especially my bone stock 97 Altima GLE. That car was a great car and it ran to almost 200k miles. The girl I sold it to (family friend) was hit by another driver and it was totaled.

Anyway, now you know me...who are you?

P.S. If you are active/reserve military, you get a free custom title under your user name. Let me know what you want, and I'll add it for you.

Well my name is Ben and I drive a 1996 GTS25T. This is, funny enough, my first Nissan. Stateside I've had a 1969 VW Bug, 1998 Acura Integra, 2001 Acura CL Type S, and 2008 Lexus IS 250, but I must say I really enjoy driving my Skyline more than any of the others; shifting and clutch work are smooth and precise, reminds me of a BMW 3 series of similar year. I've had my Skyline for less than a week, so the honey moon is still on going. My only complaint is parking the thing downtown, and that I didn't get a GTR.

I'm currently in Japan, just transferred over from Iraq. I've been deployed on and off since 2004 to both Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm prior Marine Corps, and now a very happy contractor

Name ED I retired after 24 years in the Army, last tour Khowst Afghanistan 2004-2005. If I can still get one of those free names under my name it would be Snake Eater.

I've been married 22 years, my wife is from Okinawa and I have 3 children (20 college, 18 high school, 14 middle school). My first car was a 78 Rally Sport Comaro.

In okinawa in 1986 I purchased a Zetto and put long champs, solex carbs, and headers with exhaust, this was a fun car. I married in 1987 and then purchased my wifes first car a Nissan Skyline C110. A few months later I purchased a Skyline for myself a C210.

I started having children so I stopped messing with cars till I returned to Okinawa in 2000. I purchased a plain jane R32 automatic (sucked). Next was a R33 GTS-t, a very fun car. Lastly I purchased an R32 GTR a very clean car and brought this car back to the states through Motorex. I'm very proud to say my R has a bond release from NHTSA and I dont have any issues with legality as this is my retirement gift.

I build and tune my own R and currently shes doing 528 WHP. My Oldest boys have 240s and the oldest has a CA18 with some other mods, the youngest just has a dual cam manual with a viscous LSD.

Now getting my car back once in the states was a 2 year ordeal that involved me paying lawyers and having to sue for posession from companies Motorex did business with but I'm glad to say shes legal and I paid for this with money and determination.

I dont like liars or scammers

I have 9 weeks till we get in our C-130 and go to BAF. Takes about a week or longer from there to get home but I can not wait. With the help of my family and friends I was able to get a R33. I would not have been able to do it with out the help of others. I have a lot of respect for Skyline owners who went threw all the hassle to have it imported and legalized. Although I did not do that but I worked very hard for the money I bought mine with so I cheerish it the way I cheerish the people who made it possible.

Lucky you! I took a contractor job at Lejeune this year when I got out but I really want to move back to Oki, just have to wait till my job position opens up out there.

Names Kendal.I'm from Halifax,Nova Scotia Canada. I currently work as a parts specialist for Volvo,Jaguar,Land Rover and Porsche here in the city. Been with the buisness 7.5 years. I am 27 Years old. I'm currently engaged to an amazing girl and have a baby or babies on the way...not too sure which yet lol.

I have owned a couple s14 240sx's,one LE in 2000 that I smashed up in 2001, and in 2002 I purchased a very low milage base model S14 auto car that was brought from SoCal to Ottawa. Ever since then I had done pretty much every bolt on to the KA24 engine, gone through multiple sets of wheels, did coilovers, brakes, rear arms, all kinds.

In 2006 I performed an rb20 as well as a 5 speed swap on the car with some friends. Drove the car for 11 months solid, had wiring issues so dismantled the car, while doing so performed multiple upgrades to the powertrain. Drove the car off and on for about 6 months and custom turbo went. Car has never been 100% in the last 2 years so I decided to take it off the road, and strip it down to a shell and go from the ground up. Just moved into a new house with a garage and progress is starting this winter.

I've done my best to help all the younger guys locally who got the nissan bug.....I did most of an rb25 swap to s13 chassis,I have a friend with a 89 180sx I have done much work to for free,4 friends with r32's I've done much for and so on.....I like to pitch in where I can...but I'm no professional.

I completely understand. Working for free pays off more than money can ever give. You learn so much and also make great friends.
