I recieved what I thought was an r-32 diff but it seems the axles are bigger. well the diff has 6 bolt axles. the pattern is an even 6 not 3 groups of 2 like the norm. but it might of come from a all-wheel drive skyline or something. does anybody know what axles stubs might fit in the diff-- I know the stock diff stubs dont fit. thanks for your help.

I have the same differential as well...I believe they are the NEO diff. I think Q45 axles have the same pattern, but I dont know if the length or size will fit our hub. I also tried putting Z32 output shaft on them, but no luck. It has been sitting in my garage for the past 2 years

here I found this on ebay sold by Jhot which is where I originally bought this "skyline diff". can anybody tell me if these are in fact 300zx lsd's because it is the exact item I have. and if so I could just buy 300zx hubs and these axles should fit them just not sure about length being an issue. thankshttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

Both 5 bolt and 6 bolt were used by nissan, you just have to find matching axles. R32 LSDs tended to be 5 bolt, the Cefiro/S13 and non-lsd skylines tended to be 6 bolt, but theres no hard rule on it.

Do you know if the N/a and twin turbo 300zx have the same 6 bolt axles. I would figure that the TT's would have bigger axle inputs since people use the N/a hubs for 5-lug conversions.

Dont know sorry. I have heard that the R32 GTR has heavier axles than other R32s, so quite possibly the the Z32 might have the same axles as the GTR, but im only surmising. I shall enquire of the man next door to work tomorrow, hes had a few GTRs.

dont know if this will help but...currently im running a r32 viscous diff and its a 3/2 pattern.

i also know that if you use a 94 or newer j30 diff it will bolt up to the s14 3/2 pattern which is the stock base open diff. the older j30 diffs have the reg 5 bolt..

The Q45 has the 6 evenly spaced... Which apparently is the same as some of the differentials here.....

To the thread starter: If you dont want your R32 6 bolt diff, email me ([email protected]) and i will probably buy it from you, depending on the gear ratio.
