I've seen that pic before. But it's cool none the less. Just like our state patrol has camaros and a few vettes for high speed persuits, their persuit cars are skylines. Not that big of a deal.

I agree with main event, what type of idiot would look at a H2 in their rearview mirror and run from it. As long as it can keep up that is.

I have a feeling alot of people would try, thinking its big and bulky and can't be fast... until it catches em :p

that skyline is kool, but i dunno an H2, it's heavy, i'm sure it handles horribly, it wastes a lot of gas. i just don't think that would be a good high speed pursuit car. i'm sure a porche, or a car with descent speed and handling could out run it pretty easily

Those Impalas are Bad AZZ, I am in Law enforcent and in training on time I was in the back when we were chasing someone, and the cop floored it. I was holding on to the front of the seats, well when he did that Me and the seat went flying. The whole back seat came up. Even though they are supposed to come up, just not that easy.

That thing is bad but I bet its not all that much faster than our own Camaros. I don't imagine that it has that many performance upgrades just ones for reliability. Still wouldn't mind seeing it, except behind me with its lights on.

Japan has some cool stuff, but the Euro cops are where its at. Most drive like rally drivers and they drive small 5spd rally type cars. Plus they drive on those small *** crowded streets. pretty cool.

I have been in the Crown vics, and they make those nice, They got the 4.5liter V8 in them. I heard they just make the fuel output better on them. Of course departments are going to different cars due to the fire hazard of the Crown Vics

From what I know MOST Police Interceptors only have upgrades to ensure reliability during extended periods of driving. These upgrades include transmission coolers oil coolers and such. As sourced from a popular compact car magazine(not sure if we can post names) the Impala had 0-60 time of 9.25secs. and a quarter mile time of [email protected]. Not exactly fast in my opinion.

I've seen a Corvette cop car around here as well, plus all the ones you mentioned.

I've also seen Jeep Cherokee's.
