since no one ever goes to the skyline forums. Lets see if there is really any interest in this. I have the conversion documents and crash test data. I posted in the skyline forums about it, so this will be try 2.

i have to go through an RI and make it legal within 120 days.

yes i guess i could sell skylines. The only problem is i don't know if the RI would cover the 150% worth of the car or i would have to bond it myself

well, hell.... i didn't even know people would be interested.... lol

R34 is still going to be over 50k. Due to the fact it's still 50k over in JDM land. R32 is 5k for a GTS and for a GTR 9-20k depending on year and condition. R33 is 23-30k.

All these are just the costs of the vehicles themselves just to let you know. You think there would be enough demand for low cost conversions?

Good luck bro...

You'll probably get a bunch of tire kickers... and when it comes time to pony up the cash every single one of them will have some insane story about how they're short the money due to unforseen circumstances!

Also, I am guessing there is a reason MotoRex has stayed the ONLY legalized importer/conversion shop in the US. So, the hassle you would have to go through to get permission would make it cost prohibitive.

permission for what? To steal information like they did? RI can import any car they want as long as its for personal use or a car that can be proven to the FMVSS that it is safe in the united states.

I looked up peitions for the skyline from motorex and there are 0. So, like i said. They could be taking the information like i have found and doing exactly that. But charging outragous prices to cover their bond. Which is silly.

though 100% more isn't exactly 150%. But i think 10-20k would have been more real for the R34 then 52,000 more....

well if you start a lil buisness up, and charge less tham motox, or what ever the place is, you will get them to charge less, or they might just buy u out. both a good thing bc you could make a lot of money

AIM:speedesufor now i can just add you guys to my aim, if i go through with anything. Just remember the base costs that i told you guys.

Right now this convo shouldn't go any further then this becuase then it would be breaking the rules of NICO's advertisement.
