Graft a CA18 block onto it and you'd get an inline 10 y0.

It's already been done, look around online if you really want to waste your money.

The only two engines worth the effort of going through a swap would be a VK56 (if you want to stay with a Nissan powerplant) or an LS series engine from GM (the better choice because it's been done a lot so there are a lot of examples of how to do it right and the massive aftermarket support the LS has).

This was recently discussed in the 350Z Technical section.

Welcome to NICO! :badger

Save the money and either boost...

Or swap in the VK56/GM LSx

Really can't say more at this point since we don't know your goals.

That's certainly another option (and probably the best one), I was addressing swaps specifically. Thanks for pointing it out! :)

I'm moving this thread over to the 350Z area so Jerry, our resident boost guru will catch it and post. He doesn't leave the friendly confines of the Z section very much.

haa not so much as dont leave the confines often as much as i dont pop in alot. most people hit me up on facebook plus ive been doing school work(finishing software engineering bachelors), studying for ACT(trying to get into case western for mechanical engineering), finishing up a twin turbo g35, tubing the front end of my Z and preparing it for a turbo location change and a massive greddy intercooler core, and developing a sheet metal intake for the vq35 in solid works so the platform will actually have something that performs halfway decent and can be altered on being built for a specific cam choice and rpm range. plus once its done i can translate that over to the tvs 1320/1900 supercharger project.
