Nice wheels on the car.

Now did anyone notice that the guy was 31 when he met his 13y/o GF?

It's a shame to see the loss of life, and the part about the 15 year old pregnant girlfriend is pretty creepy.

wow, that is a F'ed up skyline, and what is with that 31 and 15year old going out. It even said they were moving in together and starting a family. Thats just weird. and there parents were like he is the perfect guy for there daughter.

i do feel bad for the familes.

but i cant get over the fact that the 15yr old was moving in with the 31 yr old. AND WAS PREGNANT!

Interesting article. Wish somehting liek this didn't happen waste of 3 lives that could hve ben prevented. Said he hit a pole but the car is in 2 did he lose control then slide into it? I agree that they shouldn't of been with each other but IMO every has their right to make their own choices and seems the parents were on her side to.

Although my condolences go out to both families, if that kid would have lived he would be in for the biggest *** beating of his life.

The intercooler still looks good, I wonder if he's parting out...

Edit: The only people I feel bad for are the families, and maybe the little girl(along of course with the baby). But the kid was stupid and learned his lesson (), the 31 year old was a sick person and deserved it, and the little girl was obviously not quite right in the head but 'tis a shame she died.

What is a "P-Plate"? Can some folks from down under explain this term?

I believe the "P" stands for provisional. There are different requirements for drivers on provisional plates, ie. more inexperienced drivers. I believe it goes from "L" plates (learners) to "P" plates.

Well guys, for being a dumbass, it's not a bad way to die. 200+ KPH in a SKYLINE. Sweet bliss before death. Not bad, I think even better then death while having sex. I'd be sad if it was a civc. Poor girl and guy though.

Hi Guys,

for those that want to know ... a "P" Plater is a provisional licence holder. In Australia when you first get your licence you get a learners permit which allows you to drive the car with the accompianment (sp) of an open licence holder so you can learn the ropes and then go to sit for your provisional licence. The provisional licence once attained allows you to drive without being accompanied by an open licence holder but you are on a limited points period. Ususally consisting of 4 points (speeding 30KMph over the speed limit will wipe this effectively) if you lose your points in this period your licence will be suspended for 6 months. An Open licence holder gets 12 points.

Now to the crash in hand, the car was an absolute beast with 400awkw (700hp at all four wheels) and was one of Australia's best known GTR's.

The driver took the car without permission whilst his father was oversea's (he was never allowed to drive it even when his father was home anyway) The car was airborne for about 20 metres when it hit the pole at just under 200kmph.

Extreme stupidity from all involved.

A couple of things, as has already been mentioned, is the 33 year old with 15 year old is sick and the tragedy could have been averted if the police had done their job and thrown his arse in jail for being a paedephile. It is not the norm in this country for that kind of stuff to go on and if it had been my daughter, he would have died a couple of years ago when he first met her.

I think at the end of the day, they were all taken out of the "gene pool" for a reason.

I do feel for their respective families and especially for the father of the driver as he basically created the weapon his son killed himself and others with.

my 2cents

That is, to say the least, very sad. Everything from the crash and deaths to the relationship of those two is very sad.

There most definitely are laws against it.The age of consent in Australia is 16 years old and if you are under 18 years of age the partner must be within two years of your age.

It is illegal in every state in Australia for an adult to have sex with a minor and it carries a mandatory sentence.

The guy absolutely should have been locked up, I don't know how her parents would allow anyone to get away with that.
