new tires: bridgestone re950's (bad-*** for what they are IMO) freebie exhaust pics:

anybody want to take a stab at what kind of exhaust it is? me and my best friend think it's borla, perhaps a low end one. the exhaust looks like crap cause it's more than 3 yrs old on a car that wasn't really taken care of (his brother's s13 pignose)

it sounds deep, has a nice drone on the highway, a little raspy near redline, but more like a rotary-chainsaw-rasp. not really bad though.

hey, it was free. (2.5" too, no resonator)

a free rusty exhaust, Rock on!

get those rotors cleaned up before you put them on though. Rust is an insulator.

Amazing - someone on this board with an aftermarket exhaust that ISN'T a fart can. Kudos.

Edit: LessThanJakeJohn - Yes, an oversized Foldger's style can replicating the sounds of a flatulent trucker after Taco Bell is what I consider to be a fartcan. PSA: Annoying loud exhausts, no matter how "deep and harsh" you may think they are, are not cool....y0. Oh, and comparing our president to fvcking Hitler...that speaks volumes about you. I honestly don't care that most on these boards are too pvssy to think for themselves and are swayed embarassingly easily by high post counts and the obnoxious liberal media but that is completely ludicrous. I can only hope that your signature is meant, atleast in part, satirically. Even hinting at the similarities between partly retaliatory, although also somewhat preempted, attack upon MILTARY tyrants and the maniacal attempted genocide of an entire people would make any person with coherent thought still occuring in their mind speechless. If it wasn't apparent already, I'm in a bad mood. ;) But either way, I've spoken my mind.

what do you mean Seva? Are you implying that N1s and Hipers are fartcans?

You ever gotten your car repainted? I think I've seen pics of it before, or maybe just another white Coupe, but the paint, from what I can tell, looks really clean.

I wish mine looked like that...

aw, i was hoping it wasn't a pacesetter. arent they black/with yellow on the inside of the tips?

and john: well those rotors/calipers aren't going on for a *long* time. they need to be redrilled, and resurfaced too. but that's where they are staying for now. on my bookcase--till i get all the hardware

josh: my car didn't get repainted. that's just the good side of the car, i have white primer on the right rear quarter panel and a little bit of surface rust-spots on that side.

Yes I do believe that N1 and Hipers are redicouslous for street cars but there are some companies out there that put out something similar but our more purpose oriented (IE the HKS supersport)

In my signature, yes that is meant satiracly. It makes your sorta grin and question. I have very little idea what my stance is. I am young. I love Bill o'reilly on fox, but I also think Al Franken wrote a good book. see what i mean? I don't really know my opinions and am easily swayed by a good writer/speaker.

Hehe, I HAD a good side... But I fixed that ; )

I'm thinking of doing some bodywork and stuff... I figure if I take a lot of time and be careful it can't look worse then it does.

Hey Sky,

How's MV240? That basturd was supposed to call me at work today. Didn't. Oh well, his loss. I was going to buy him a killer burrito.

That exhaust is definitely NOT a Borla. They don't rust and the typically say "Borla" on the muffler. They also sound absolutely wonderful. I miss mine and if I were going NA, I would get another one.

Oh well, I guess the ricer in me wants a fartcan, you know, like a Hiper...

Nice! Who needs books on a book shelf when they hold car parts just fine. I notice a lot of ppl have bookshelfs and never EVER read the books on them. They just put books and a bookshelf because it makes the room look more IKEA like I guess.
