skipping when damp

i have a 2000 nissan maxima 3.0 liter v6 and ive replaced a coil on it that the shop said was bad but it continued to do the same thing it seems as though when its raining it makes the car skip or after i wash it but if u drive it down the road and press it to full throttle it stops and will run fine all day and if it does it again u do the same and it clears up we recently put a system in the trunk and now the check engine light has went off and hasnt been doing it but thats just since yesterday someone else ever had that problem please let me know what the problem was and how to fix it.
