skipping in the crners

I have a 2002 Spec V that I race on a 1/4 mile dirt track in upstate New York. It is fast and wins often. Last week it started skipping a little in the corners like it was running out of gas (tank was full). in the straights it was great. It kept getting worse until it wouldn't run in the corners at all, I would fire back up in the straights and I drove into the pits. It has been rolled and run into a concrete wall, but won the next week. Now this. Any Ideas?
