I am wondering if anyone else has skidding problems in the rain. While going very slowly up a hill and a very sharp curve (probably about 25 mph) my rear end skids out. I am stepping on the gas slightly. I have new Bridgestone RE 92's on the car and the traction is on. It makes me VERY nervous to even drive in the rain now!!

It can be one of two things or a combination of the two. 1) I've seen a lot of complaints about the wet traction of these tires, not sure how valid they all are but they are out there while others praise these tires. 2) If it hasn't rained in a long time, the roads will be even worse until the grease and oil get washed away.

You should have gotten better tires...RE 92's suck. I've never had a problem in wet weather with my Toyos.

Thanks for the info guys. I bought the car this summer with the new RE's on it and we were kind of waiting to run them out. I think we'll look into better tires!

The roads could have been a little slick with oil because we haven't had much rain lately...

I also have a skidding problem was running 275/30/20 Toyo's and i Melted them off in under 7000 miles now am running ES100 and they seem to be more sticky and now it doesnt want to skid as much. There is no better feeling than stomping the peddle to the mat in 3rd and pitching my G sideways around a corner. Woohoo
