Skid plate bolt problem

Car: 2002 Altima, 2005 Armada

A mechanic broke the head off of the left front bolt that holds the front skid plate in place. The skid plate is immediately behind the front bumper. Has anyone had this problem?

What is a good way to fix this.

Sorry to hear about the problem, I have never heard of this happening. Not sure of the best plan of attack other than that the old bolt needs to be removed!

Thanks for the reply. I pulled the skid plate off and removed the damaged bolt. I am going to try and re tap the hold and put a new bolt in.
