lol... its weird, I have an easier time doing it switch than I do regular... the trick is, have your back turned away from the ledge like your doing a bs 180...if you keep your chest perpendicular to the ledge, you won't do it, but its what your body wants to do ykno?

I bought a new enjoi deck today because I cracked the last of my stash, I hope

it doesn't suck. I also got some Lakai Carrolls, they are pretty comfortable and

skate well.

I've had like one enjoi deck in my whole life... all I can say is never again... their shapes are too funny and too thin for my taste... plus theyre heavy as heck (at least it was to me). I knew a guy that lived in Long Beach that moved to Pico that worked for Darkstar/ Enjoi/ Tensor/ World Ind. (all the same owner) and he used to hook it up biiiig time... like a box full of skate goodies for like $20... all brand new... it consisted of like 9 decks, 3 sets of wheels, 5 trucks (haha odd for some reason), some wax, some bearings, and some stickers...... I slanged them all... hahaha

How does the Lakai's skate? I heard they skate well, but i've never owned a pair...

btw... anyone see that footie of Stefan Janoski switch flip switch crook on a bank rail for best trick contest? JEEEEZUS!!

The Lakai's are amazing, I went from old school Rowley's to those and I feel like

I have been skating wayyy better. I haven't tried the Enjoi yet, I bought one

more of my freinds decks, but I'm bummed that you say that it was heavy.

I also got it in 7.9 so I hope that goes well.....

dooooood... I loved the old school Rowley 1's... I went through like a million pairs of those... best grip ever... period. They hurt like hell cuz theres no soles, but add your own soles, and youre good to go...and about the heaviness.... this was back in like 1997 or something, I'm sure times have changed

you should try 8"s... 8's = serious business

I have used an 8" and it wasn't really my thing. I have had so many pairs of

Rowley's it isn't even funny, I love the fact that they have a really thin sole, but I

also hate it if you know what I mean. I was supposed to go to a skatepark

today but never ended up going.

skateboarding? definitly not as expensive as cars is.... esp if you know people... I paid about $20 for decks and $10 for wheels... trucks and bearings I reused, and hardware was free for me. I think only thing I paid more of was kicks... But I got like 20% off at my local shop.

LOL...

dude, you gotta start buying shop decks that cost like $30 as opposed to real decks that are like $50-60...

for hardcore skaters, boards are only supposed to last you like 2 weeks tops (for me, sometimes it was like 1 and a half weeks)... now imaging spending like 50-60 every 2 weeks, yah right...

anyways, I knew the owner at my local shop and he used to hook it up for like 15-20 for a shop deck. sure they were heavy, but they offered great sizes and shapes... after I lost my pop and grip... I gotta another one, and 20 bucks wasn't too hard to ask for

Well I have a friend who had a company and he sells me decks for 10 each, but I

hadn't seen him in a while so I got this piece. I would never spend that much on

a deck again.

It depends how much I skate, but I usually focus decks after a week and a half

anyway. I just bought 5 decks from that kid and I'm bringing my flatbar to my

dorm, I just hope somone at my college skates too.

When i was real into skating i used to love doing stairs, the biggest i did was a 9 set. now i like to skate my local park which has every thing except stairs.
