I have a 2005 Pathfinder LE. It shakes when idle on a red light. There is not check engines or any other kind of light on at the dashboard. I wanna to clean the clean the throttle body to see if it may help to reduce the shaking.
The truck runs perfect but it getting annoying. Any sugestions?

Try cleaning your MAF sensor.

when that happened to me, i thought it was a bad motor mount. Turns out, in my case, one of the sparkplugs wernt that great and it messed with the timing

I think this will be your MAF:

You need some MAF cleaner:

You also may require a security Torx (probably T20) bit to remove the MAF sensor. At least, I required one for my VQ35 in the '01.

Disconnect the negative on the battery, remove the wiring harness for the MAF sensor, unscrew it, and the MAF should just rise out of the throttle body intake tube. Spray it with cleaner liberally around the exposed wire, like so:

Wait for it to dry, reinstall it, reconnect battery cable. Done.

Hi thank you for your help towncivilian it was very easy to do. I also clean the thriltle body. For a minute it was all fine but after a few minutes a check engine light came out. The RPM was to high and feel rought to drive. Also noteced that there is a weard noise coming from the belt. I"m not sure what it would be..........

You can clean these sensors and that will help...if they are dirty but what is your cold high idle speed and your normal idle speed? Does your idle speed increase when you turn on your A/C. Your coolant sensor might be breaking down. Do you notice a stumble when idle cold speed reduces to normal warm speed. Your idle air valve should also be verified. As your EGR valve
