Would there be any problems with running a 215/35/18 x8 in the front and a 215/40/18 x9 in the rear?

Im most worried about excess understear created by running these sizes. Can anyone for see any problems with this setup?

seems to me your going to be stretched in rear and about even in front so i'd be worried about oversteering from less contact on the rear of your car. because even tough your running a fatter tire you're still running a skinnier tire so you'll have more sidewall but not as much surface contact. but its only an inch so i dont think you'd feel the difference under normal driving...it'll probably slide easier, but this all depends on your suspension set up. but staggered wheel set ups allready make your car prone to understeer.

After cruising a few sites probably going to go with a 215/40/18 f and a 225/40/18 r.

Still kinda worried about the front fender clearence but lots of guys run them with no issues so...

well your flushness again is going to depend on your ride height and suspension set up. good luck.
