Guys

I'm starting to piece together my oil feed/return setup for the turbo and I'd like to know how you guys are retrofitting AN lines to the oil return setup.

I pulled the plug out of the block and just by judging it looks somewhere in the 22-24mm range, but I have no idea if anyone makes a fitting that size to convert to AN -10

Anyone?

Found this on another forum

Quote »The fitting size into the block is 3/4" BSPT, but BSPT is very close to NPT (only slightly different angle), so with some telfon tape using a NPT fitting would be fine I have read. Summit has all the fittings you might need for converting 3/4" NPT to -10 AN....I was pricing all that out yesterday. Also just incase you are curious about the other sizes of things that need to be ran to the turbo...

Oil Feed at Block: M12x1.25Oil Return at Block: 3/4" BSPT (3/4" NPT can work)Coolant Return at Block: M14x1.5[/quote]

The coolant Return is wrong.I just went and finally found a bolt for it.

It's a M14 x 1.25 (not 1.5)

^^ Really? That is interesting/very good to know. I'll be doing AN lines for my T3TO4E soon and was going on the assumption the coolant fitting was m14x1.5...

fwiw... http://www.BATINC.net sells a 3/4 BSP to AN -10 fitting. Then, if you look on ebay under "t3 drain", "Function 7" sells a T3 two bolt drain flange that has an AN -10 fitting on it as well (search T3 drain)

Edit: if the image is broken, click here: http://www.projectzum.com/ebay...2.jpg

If/When you guys get your AN setups finished please post pictures

I actually wondered about that before you posted. I noticed on summit racing's website they only offered two M14x1.5 to AN fittings and they were 90 degrees. When I went into the M14x1.25 selection it was much larger, so that led me to believe the post I found had a mistake

Its not a mistake.....that information is for an RB25 and is 100% correct.

I've converted all the lines to AN.

The oil return on the block is 3/4" BSPT. Using 3/4" NPT will work if you use enough teflon tape.

The oil feed on the block is M12x1.25.

The coolant feed on the block is M14x1.50.

That is where I got my fitting, but I had to wait 5 months. They are the only place that sells the 3/4" BSPT to -10AN adapter.
