Hi.
I'm glad to find such a resource for my 1991 Maxima.

I'm purchasing tools in order to replace the front wheel bearings and CV shafts. I would like to have what I need before I even start. I was unable to find in the service manual the size of nut that holds the wheel on. Would anyone know what that size is so I can get it ordered?

Thanks

Just buy a set of sockets. You might need them sooner or later.

Axle nut sockets are whoppers and not used enough to justify a set provided you can even find one. Of course the post says wheel and that is a lug nut not axle nut.

Go to parts store and ask for the nut and then measure it on the spot.
