Size of CF-Card

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I've tried to use a 16GB sd-hc with my ex. You want to know how that works? Actually its not at all!I bought a Delock adapter from sd(hc) to cf and used the memoy chip of my cell phone, where I keep most of my music. Althought i am aware of the fact that I can't use more than 512 files, it should at least play some of it. the mp3s are orgenized in several folders (not more than 3 levels). When I plug the cf in the dash, it says 'No audio file'.Even with a 2GB sd card.

Now i don't know if the adapter is broken or the card reader of the ex?

Find somebody that has a USB multi card reader and see if that combination works on a PC.

Maybe a phone format issue?

I have a 4g CF card and have about 60 albums downloaded onto it. It works just fine - however, I think the screen will only show 62 albums, no more, even though there are more on the card. I had to delete some so that all would show. Otherwise there seems to be no way to get to the files that are in excess of 62. I do download cd's onto windows media and then sync with my cf card directly from the computer. You can edit what you send to the cf card easy with windows media. IMO I prefer using the cf card to the hard drive becuase it is much easier to find your music. The hard drive you have to continually scroll through every album and song. There is no readout to select a particular artist that you would like to listen to.I've never tried to use it as from an adaptor with and sd card or anything else.

Do you have a certain bitrate? Mines are from 192 to 320 !Did you use dos- format folder names, I mean not more than 8 letters without spaces or some thing like that?

I use wma lossless to down load and to sync to my cf card, although I don't think it is more than 132 bit rate. Windows media Player seems to work the best for me - i have a cf slot in my computer tower and can drag the files to it. I do not have to create any folders as windows media player downloads the information from from the internet when you put in a cd - artist name, album title, year made, name of songs, length of songs is all there - but you have to have the settings right in the windows media player.

Over the holidays I played around a little bit. The problem is the CF-Adapter that is not working with microSD card beein adapted to a SD-card.

Ordinary SD cards are fine. But with the restrictions on cf i think i'll go with an IPod.
