Alright, I bought a 92 KA24DE S13 in Feb of 06. 120,000 on the odometer at that time. Drove it for a while, loved it. Mods are HS headers, greddy exhaust, underdrive pulley, ripped a/c, and a few other small things.

When I bought it, the clutch was slipping slightly. Around june or so, I changed the clutch out with an AC Delco piece of crap. 600 miles later, it disentegrated in my transmission, leaving a fiberous looking material. They replaced the clutch, but my dumbass didn't change the throwout bearing again. Next day, boop....no more clutch. My guess is the fibers got into the rubber sleeve/grommett thingie holding the t/o bearing, and chewed it up...so it pushed the t/o bearing back into the metal sleeve. I got tired of working on it, and it has been sitting still since then.

I will be pulling it to where I am at and tossing a new flywheel and clutch into it. I know I need to change fluids, tires, etc....Anyone think of anything else I need to do to make sure its properly running after almost a year of stagnant sitting?

siphon out the old fuel and change the fuel filter, run some cleaner through the old fuel system and turn it over a few times without any fuel or spark just to get the oil cycling through again when you've changed that. go gentle on the brakes as the first couple times you brake it'll be trying to dump the rust off the rotor, etc.
