EDIT: Notice the title of the thread "vote again 1" means that a possible vendor has been added and everyone needs to vote again. Each time a new vendor is added to the poll we will put the next corresponding number in the title so everyone knows that its time to "vote again"

If anyone has questions just reply in the thread.

-Mark

All right guys, I've been looking around, and RB guys have sponsors on here, S chassis guys have sponsors like crazy, and even the Altima guys have sponsors on the site. Some things you may not know about our sponsors, however, is that most of them give a discount to forum members just for calling in your order and mentioning you're from NICOclub.com and that's where you heard about their business. David at Shaftmasters, for example, gives all NICOclub.com members a discount on any driveshafts that they order. A lot of other sponsors offer special discounts on certain items for forum members, kind of a "monthly special" type deal. They usually end up in the Advertiser's Marketplace. Click here to check it out. For example, sparkplugs.com is running a 10% off with the code in this thread.

Now, if you look around in that forum, you may notice that there is a significant lack of Z32 support in there. Hell, there's a general lack of Z support at all in there. Now my question to YOU guys is, who would YOU like to see as an advertiser on NICOclub.com? Any and all vendors who offer Z products, or anything car related, if you want to see them as an advertiser/site sponsor, vote for them in this poll.

Remember though, it's not a guarantee that just because they come on as an advertiser, that they are going to give a discount, so don't get your feelings hurt if your favorite brand doesn't drop the price for forum members, though bringing them on board does increase the chances of them dropping a discount our way! ;)

You can cast as many votes as you like in this poll, we're not trying to gauge the "best" advertiser, but rather, see the amount of interest for advertisers and who we should try and bring on board.

Now, I'll go ahead and start things off: I'd vote for Powertrix, as Charles is great guy and I've always directed people to buy from him anyways. Plus, it would be great to be able to post group buys in the forums, which is technically against forum rules.

So let's hear it! What sponsors do you guys wanna see? Be sure to vote ^^Up there^^

So. Forum software doesn't allow "open polls" anymore. So, whatever sponsors you would like to see, post them up here as a reply, and either myself, Tony, or Mark can add them to the poll for everyone to vote on. Remember, you can vote for more than 1, so vote for any and all that you would like to see here.

Just remember, those aren't the only two options. if there are any other vendors you'd like to see, post them up, and I'll add them to the poll.

I just added Specialty Z and it erased all the other votes?

I guess each time we add a vendor we will have to start the poll over. -_-

I voted for SZ and Powertrix.

Good idea Aaron.

Bummer! I was going to suggest Import Parts Pro. FWIW, I've also had great experiences with Powertrix and SpecialtyZ though.

Godspeed :D

They make a turbo kit specifically for us. Regardless of if you'd rock their parts or not. Some don't have money for ALL specialtyz parts, doesn't mean they can't modify.

I would suggest SPL as well, maybe ZSpeedPerformance. Not like all of these have to be exclusive.

Eli, I'd beware of running Godspeed turbos. Ask Melissa Miller how that worked out for her. Here's a hint, it didn't.

Well, she IS also abusing them :D I got her on facebook, i'll ask her about them.

Actually, i wasn't really thinking of putting their turbos on my car, just mentioned FWIW that they had turbos, and they do warranty them..they have other parts that have been proven successful like their radiators and intercoolers (I mean, not the best option, but an option nonetheless for people with limited cashflow that want to do something. You have to start somewhere, and it's not always with a grand into side mounts.)

I was going to go to Enjuku for s15 OEM turbos actually, can't beat their price! :)

Speaking of, i think we should add enjuku.

Its coming along not done yet though.

Tony, great idea I forgot all about them. I'll go ahead and add them to the list so everyone go ahead and vote again.

MM's turbos died, she's not running them anymore AFAIK. They're junk. GS might be able to make decent intercoolers (i'm still not impressed with them), but like I said elsewhere, they shouldn't be messing with rotating machinery that spins at 100K+ RPM.

S15 OEMs are a great option. Simple reclocking and fabrication of inlets and you're all set.

Aaron, Tony, is there something we can do to save the results if the poll is edited that I may not know about??

Yeah. I have faith in them though. They might one day find a successful vendor to manufacture turbochargers. but for right now I guess they're junk. I'm pulling for them.

And their intercoolers aren't the best option, but they're better than OEM, which is still an upgrade.

Mishimoto does make good radiators! And I believe they're ok for oil coolers too.

Anyway, CZP sells the inlet flanges for these turbochargers! I think there's a link somewhere, but I forgot which thread it's in.

Nope. Thought this might be like the old formus software where you could just add an option at the end. Bummer. All right, let's get everyone voting again! lol.

We had problems with them in the past (~2 years ago), but if the demand is high enough, we can make a case to get them back on board. However, I don't really think they'll be coming back.

I prefer not to have companies that support AMS advertise here anyway so I don't want them to come back.

Plus we have lots of better options I would imagine that atleast one of the better options will want to advertise with us.

Gonna leave this open till tonight. I'll leave the thread open to convo and close the poll. I think we have a pretty good indication anyways of who we really want as advertisers on here. Get any last minute suggestions in.

can we just add all of them?

I don't see why that woudl be a big deal. I rarely ever use the forum sponsors we currently have, and i'sd like to shop at all these places off of nico. maybe participate in gb's?
