I currently have a subscription to Sirius XM in my 2014 Rogue SL and come February I will likely drop it. With the exception of a few channels, I really don't listen to it all the time and those stations I do tend to play the same hit over and over. No better than terrestrial radio IMO.

Regarding XM Traffic and XM Weather, I'm unimpressed. I am rarely ever notified of accidents and when I am, the alternate route is often just as jammed. The XM Weather isn't a big deal, mainly eye candy for passengers to view the forecast and weather radar, all of which I can do on my iPhone.

I mainly use my iPhone to stream (via Bluetooth) Pandora, my own music or listen to TuneIn radio app which allows me to stream stations from across the country and world.

Regarding NissanConnect, I have been thoroughly dispassionate about it. Buggy apps with crashes, limited functionality and limited app selection mean I use my iPhone to stream Pandora directly rather than the NissanConnect app. I think we have 3 years of NissanConnect for 'free.' Unless the offerings and app reliability increases considerably, it won't be something I'll sign up for upon expiration.

As a techie, the software offered with the Rogue might please some but for those of us who are power users, the entire package falls far short of where it should be. Thankfully the rest of the car excels in pleasing, particularly in gas mileage, ride and fit & finish.
