I hooked up my Sirius Sportster 5 this morning. I've noticed that you really have to crank the volume on the Rogue stereo to hear a lot of the channels and when you do this, there's a lot of humming/dead air noise you can hear. Is that normal? And if not, how do I fix it, or what did I do wrong? Its connected via the aux port in the radio.

Check your portable unit, it should have a vol. control for the output, you might have it turned down too low.

I used to used a portable unit before I put in my in dash Sirius/Navigation in my Pathfinder, I had to turn up the gain on the portable quite a bit to get the level right.

The unit's volume is turned up almost to maximum.
