Sirius instead of XM

What's up everybody??? I am brand new to the board and just purchased my 2008 Dark Slate Nissan Altima Coupe w/premium package minus the technology package. I have a question though, Of course everyone knows that XM is included on the altima coupe's premium package, but I had sirius in my '98 mustang that I totaled last month. I removed my Sirius Starmate unit from my mustang and wanted to know what my options are on putting it in my coupe??? Now, I heard that there is an adapter they sell that can use the same antenna from the XM and switch it to sirius.. Anybody heard of this??? because I know that I can purchase a new unit and kit and have it hardwired into the auxilary... but i don't want that, because i have my ipod plugged into the auxilary port.. PLEASE, any help would be appreciated...
