The Rogue SL comes with 225/60R18 tires

Can I use 235/70R/16 for winters on this car? I currently use those winters for my 2008 Sante Fe with 235/60R18 summers.

Been reading further about downsizing of winter tires, ,eg,

http://tires.about.com/od/understanding ... Sizing.htm
http://tires.about.com/od/buyers_guide/ ... lators.htm

Looks like I should be okay as the diameter variance between the OEMs and my winters is only about 1%, based on the 1010 calculator

18 & 16 are two different rim sizes.

Make sure your 16" wheels have the exact same lugnut pattern as the stock wheels.
