Quintuple turbo is the only way to go. One turbo for each cylinder then a really huge one for the extra boost at your 12,000rpm redline.

Have fun finding room for the turbos and plumbing.

That's why it's a project. If it is a simple task then it isn't a project.I might end up going with just a high snail instead.Getting a junkyard vg and building it.

That is quite an interesting venture! To get an idea of what you may experience take a look at this thread about a member who was looking into that option for an SR turbo motor.

Conceptually, you can pull this off. However, you may find that tuning it may be a nightmare. Definitely NOT for the feint of heart!

Good luck though!

this is true, it's not worth it. on a 4 cyl. engine it's no point. single turbo on a 4cyl. will have the advantage. only reason to do it is to use your money because some people got that much money heh..

you were talking about SR all this time?? just for the record even though you want to do a TT set up, the KA will work better than the SR

Depends what the 1100+ will cover. I'd say get a quote first. Since this is a KA-T forum, search and learn all you can as far as turbo'ing your KA. Should you need more info on the SR, then check out the SR forums. I posted the SR twin-turbo reference to give you an idea of what kind of work you should anticipate.
