I thought I saw someone post a link on ebay once for the single sub enclosure that goes on the side of the trunk, but I cant find it. Does anyone know where I can purchase these, or is anyone here trying to sell some audio equips?

that single sub enclosure was a zenn/custom enclosure tht goes directly behind the rear seats, not on the side of the trunk. if ur looking for an enclosure that goes in the side (like right behind a taillight) ur gna need to make it out of fiberglass urself or have someone else make it. :) gl bro!

Is this difficult to make on your own? Is there a write up anywhere? I would really rather just buy one but if its doable with good quality for a novice, I may just do that. If anyone is selling one of these pm me.

This was a custom fiberglass enclosure that someone was selling, one of a kind for the most part. There are many people that have similar set-ups but this was a 1 off make, not going to find a link to it on eBay unless your timing is perfect.

Yes and no. The enclosure in my trunk was the first time I ever messed with fiberglass. However, it is no where near the quality that a shop would've done. It functions perfectly. But the appearance leaves much to be desired. I think I'd have to try it at least a few more times before I could get one that would look nicer. That's why mine is carpeted. If you want one painted, you need to do a much better job than I did, or spend many hours with bondo and sanding.

Having a shop do it for you will be somewhat expensive though. If they quote you much less than $500-600 I would probably begin to question their work.

I did mine like this n fiberglassed it i made a write-up, fiberglass the only way. It was my first time doing it, took alot of time and wrk, i got my box to the point i bondo and sanded alot and i had dimples all over and got fustrated and brought the rest 2 a shop they charged me 150$ to finish up the bondo (which i prob made it real easy for them to just touch up) and paint it the same blue as my car..... AppleBonker saw it this weekend

Truth. ^

It is an excellent enclosure. So that proves it certainly can be done. However, if you're going to try you must be willing to commit the time to the project. The results, IMO, are completely worth it.

Zenclosures doesnt make a corner box for the AC,only the custom cut full trunk behind the rear seat. If you are curious about its craftsmanship, see my review here!
