single over head cutting the injector pulse at around 4 or 5 grand

Ok I have a 240 i run circle track in third gear the engine will completely go out untill the engine speed drops to a certain point and then its pulling hard again in 4th gear it does the same thing in 5th gear i can hold it to the floor and its ok. It also cuts out in neutral and it will cut out in different spots depending how hard you push the gas. I put a new fuel filter in changed the computer, it is still sparking when it dies, and the fuel pump is still getting power. I put a test light on one of the injector plugs and reved it up till it died and the test light went out till it come back in again. Any idea's could it be a sensor bad or a wire or ground loose or shorting out? Also the tack and speedo doesn't work and the oil pressure sending unit is unplugged Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Joe

you've hit the fuel cut limit. perfectly normal.

Hitting fuel cut as in the injectors can't pump enough fuel out for the engine to run correctly so it kills the injectors? The engine is stock except for the exhaust it has no muffler so shouldn't it have enough fuel to bounce off the rev limiter? if not how do i get rid of the fuel cut bigger injectors?

go to http://www.hybridka.com and ask gabe what you want, he can bump up the rev limiter,speed govenor, more power, etc...

well i don't know what it was but i fixed it by taking the chassis wiring harness out of another car and puttin it in now the tack works and it will rev up all the way again. It was a pain in the A$$ and took the better part of 20 hours to finish
