I'm in need of a single DIN pocket to fill the space under my head unit. Will this work fine?

That would most likely fit. Judging from one of the reviews, it has little tabs for holding up 3 CD cases... I would imagine that they would get in the way sometimes.

It looks to be one of the least expensive ones out there.

You could try it, and if it doesn't fit send it back.
