single cd radio

I am waiting for my car to arrive.can anyone tell me if the radio/cd player plays mp3 cd?

I don't think it's even available on the 6cd changer. I can assure you the 1 cd player doesn't.

However, it does play CDRWs, so you can burn an audio CD and when you get bored, wipe it and reburn it, I do that instead.

Actually you can put a FM modulation CD changer with mp3/wma playback with your car system

I don't know about on the single but I do know the 6 disc does. I have a Versa SL w/ the 6 disc and I've got 2 different MP3 discs in it now and they play wonderfully.

Its just me, but i got an aftermarket cd player w/ipod/mp3 plug in on it put in right after i got my versa. But there is an adapter that can be installed on the back of a stock deck that will let you plug in an mp3 player. If you dont want to go aftermarket with it, take a look at it.

i had the single cd radio, and it doesnt play mp3 cds... unless you burn it as an audio cd (~20 songs) it wont work... i used iTunes for all my cds i used and it worked fine, but not as a data-type cd if that makes any sense.

6 disc changer in the SL does play MP3s.Single-disc unit in the S does NOT.

i do agree my_new_v... i put in an alpine headunit, best $300 bucks spent, ipod controls, still a single disc cd player, but i just use that if i forget my ipod and im too lazy to go back in the house.... i would recommend aftermarket for the simple reason it will make your system sound better even with stock speakers. just my $0.02

hehe, soon here though im getting a double din dvd/nav/usb/ipod deck. but it has a 40gig hard drive in it so once i get that, ipod will be the thing of the past for me but yeah i know the feeling about being laazy to go back into the house haha but now i just leave it in my car except when i put more songs onto it
