Single cam vs Twin cam

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I have the 1990 single cam KA...................if I swap for the 91 twin cam----would I notice much difference? WOuld I lose bottome end torque? Is the valvetrain noisier?

I just finished swaping one. I did it because my sohc was in realy bad shape with 240k miles on it and it had 130 compression. So for me a very big difference but the amount of work involved if you have a good sohc I'd say keep it. They are still a KA and you can still make lots of power sohc or dohc.

Yeah, I don't want to change the harness & all the other external engine parts needed.
