single cam to duel cam wiring differences ???

a friend of mine had a 93 (duel cam ) with and sr in it .. short story car got wrecked .. he now has a single cam chassis i drop the sr in car runs great but i have no dash lights cluster or driving lights .. the headlights come on but not up and no other exterior lights work .. he said he looked up the diagrams and that he changed the wiring per the forum .. but im kinda leary of online how to stuff .. i just wanna know off hand if anyone has had this problem and if so how did you resolve it i dont feel like going through 2 days with a meter to figure it out .. im sure that there is something that is not wired right .. any clues ???any help would be greatly appreciated .. thanks in advance guys
