i just recently picked up a 1993 ka24de bone stock, and yesterday i bought another 240 with the single cam in it, the whole car is in better shape, and i wanted to know if its possible to swap the dual cam head off of my first 240 onto the single cam block with less miles on it, or would it be not worth it because i also have a late 80's early 90's nissan pickup with a manual transmission in it, would it be easier just to swap the dual cam into the other body, or is it possible to do a head swap

what he said/\ It has been done by someone on this site iirc and the biggest pain was timing it and figuring out what to do with the timing cover gap. also it was high compression. and for the headgasket question, the gasket are the same except for the timing cover area. i am running a dual head cometic gasket. you just have to remove the timing area and use the old gasket timing area or rtv. this is fine since there is no pressure in this area.
