This summer I plan on doing some major work on my car again. I plan on doing a few things at once, one of those things would be a cam. But I have questions and was wondering if anyone had any sources I could read up on.

Right now I'm mostly stock. Unorthadox pulley, 3 in test pipe/exhaust, k&n drop in filter (short ram soon). I did my timing chain and pretty much all the tune up goodies last summer. I'm just trying to get the basic stuff in to keep me satisfied till the turbo.

If you really want to spend the money go ahead.....Honestly to get any real power gains that motor will have to say goodbye

I'm big into fast cars I dont care if its a pinto w nitrous fast is fast......

But you want something thats fast you,also want it reliable as well.....

Sr and rbs are great but suck when something breaks...

Ka's are dime a dozen and parts are cheap everywhere....

But you want a twin-cam....Simply said,,,,,,dohc>sohc.......

Turbo = Quick easy power

KA's are also known for their reliablilty and due to their low compression, make them a prime subject to be boosted. I already have my plan.

After I saw there's only aftermarket cams for the DE, I'm gonna boost my E. Run it till she's done and on the side, buy a DE and build it, so when my SOHC goes I'll be all set.
