Single Cam Swap in a 89 240

Hey I'm new to nissans and i recently picked up a stock 89 240. It would crank, but the valves sounded really bad and it didn't have alot of compression. A friend of mine just pulled his running ka out of his 90 for the sr20 swap, so i got his ka and put it in my car. But now it won't start. it turns over just fine, but it won't start. Is there anything that I might be missing?thanks

Check all your wiring, in particular the grounds. Also check the fuses.

If all that is OK, determine if you have an ignition or fuel problem.
