Here's some video of "overboosted180's" project car. This happens to be one of the smoothest running CA powered car I've seen in a while given the fact that it has:

Upgraded CamshaftsValve springsPorted HeadCometic headgasketARP head studsCP pistons and ringsNew rod and main bearingsNew oil pumpNew front, main, and camshaft sealsClutch house 4 puck sprung clutch with ACT extreme pressure plateT3/T04E 60-1 A/Rs .60/.63Custom turbo manifold50mm wastegateturbo XS BOV

Electronics:

SDS engine management system1000cc injectorsMSD DIS-2 ignition w/2-step option installedMSD coil blocksGreddy profec Type-S boost controllerx2 12 inch fans controlled via SDS systemAutometer oil pressure gaugeAutometer boost gaugeGreddy turbo timerWalbro fuel pump

And anything else that's missing, he can always add to it. When I'm done breaking-in the engine, we'll take it to a dyno and see how it goes. His goal is 450whp, but I have plans of exceeding it and judging from the way this car is acting now, those goals will be met with minimum effort. Enjoy the video (I guess)! I'll add more as the days progress.

What's up K? It would be nice if we had some kind of huge Florida meet or somewhere in between, so that most of us can get a chance to meet each other in person and talk car crap for a minute or two. How's the car running?

It's running pretty good. I'm going to do some more dyno/street tuning today. The funny thing is I never needed to buy cams. The motor came with some other cams I just never really paid real close attention to it haha.

We do need to have a meet though would be nice to actually hangout andbull**** haha. How's everything with your car?

I pulled the head off the sentra for some porting and polishing, new valve springs, guides, seals, a new suspension, drilled and slotted brake rotors, steel braided brake lines, and a few other tricks I got up my sleeve. My goal is to try and get it into the 10sec. fully loaded car group. The head is back on it now, but I'm going to experiment with some different motor mounts because I keep ripping-up the stock ones. As soon as the 240 you see leaves my house, I can concentrate on finishing the white sentra, so that I can start on the red which will have that fully built engine that I did a couple of years back. Ought to be interesting.

Damn that should be nice. Cars always seem to be an ongoing project that never actually ends heh. I'll try to give you a call later on. I don't know if you have ever seen a full pic of my car, but here is one.

You don't need a gang of money, but you have to be dedicated and plan ahead. I wish I can meet all of you guys, even the hard-heads .

Looks great Dee. It's not often that you can see on a video how fast a car is. This definatly shows how fast that car is.

Congrats!

Thanks Ryan! I definitely appreciate you guys' compliments on this because I really worked hard and I do mean hard to get this car up to big performance status. I mean this is @ 13psi of boost, softly-tuned for break-in, and without the DIS-2 which I'll probably hook-up today or tomorrow. I'm very curious to see how it hold's up @ 17,18,22,25,27 & 30psi. Those are the areas I will be tuning in and around, so stay tuned.

What cut were you referring to? If you're referring to the engine, the only cuts it possibly may have experienced is is ignition cut and what is allowed by my foot. Anyways, it still a freshly built motor, so I didn't want to totally rape it as it can rev higher.

Hmmm, I'm pretty confident it will hit 9000rpm, but probably won't stay there and be effective. I do believe this thing should see some effective power up to around 8200rpm with whatever rpm delivering extra mph.

The CA is starting to become a popular Florida 240 engine, huh! Or is it that we are just cheap as hell and went with the cheapest thing available .
