I've got my head offf to put on a new head gasket, and while it's off, I was wondering if any of the coolant hoses on the passenger side of the head could be eliminated or simplified? Alot of coolant hoses down there! The tb hoses can be bypassed , right? Any issues with doing so? I assume disconnect hoses from the tb, and connect the 2 hoses together with a double barb?

Sweet....exactly what I was looking for

Now it says for track cars......i do plan on keeping the heater core and the turbo plumbed.....would there be any issues doing this for a street car?

Again..thanks for the link

I wonder if it has something to do with the throttle body being bypassed? I once bypassed the throttle body on my '95 maxima, and it never would come out of cold idle

Depends on the model. normally water is cicr'd through the T/B. Bypass is and it'll sit on cold idle until the whole motor has reached operating temp. If you keep the heater hoses and turbo you should be fine eliminating everything else. I wouldn't sweat it.
