Just looking for the best place to run my foot wells off of. Either constant but would rather have ACC. Thanks guys.

i would like to know this as well, also to see what kind of source to tap into. I'd want to tap into a source so that the lights come on with the dome lights, not a switch. i think the best way is to use a fuse tap into the fuse that controls the interior lights, can anyone chime in?

I just finished the footwells, and the cig lighter worked pretty well for me. Since i have the navi, i have a small ashtray looking thing that flips out next to it, and i put the toggle switch in there to keep the switch out of sight.

yes, i used this source as well, and i was ALL done, my friend then decides to see what it would look like in a diff location, and the end of the strip touched a grounded screw, shorted the whole thing out, just ordered some more...anything i can do to fix these or are they just toast? BTW, could v-leds be responsible for not completely sealing the end? I did not cut the strips.

im no pro but im gonna assume they're shot for good. you probably should have waited until u contacted v-leds about the faulty lights before u ordered the new ones, if they deem the lights to be faulty they just replace them. i had some 194s from them go down the crapper and they took care of them.

oh frak! they work! hahaha i took one of them out and tried it in the computer, dammit, i just bought them twice haha what a novice, oh well, i can find something to do with them, so i think either the fuse that i wired up is blown (hopefully!) or the actually 12v cig lighter source is blow, which would suck balls, i'll see about it tonight.

thats a pretty good idea, i was gonna do that but i didnt like the dimming option, but in hindsight i wish i went that option cuz sometimes theyre too bright and they make my windshield tint look like 75% lol
