I wouldn't Trust that mechanic. Installing Timing Chain guides on the Tail light.maxnix wrote:Yes, guy in Portland did it. Another sad case of chain guide failure and attempting to let an unqualified friend mechanic repair it, which he couldn't.
The car was lost.
Without the later trimmed center section for the trunk the effect would be a little contrived.

Actuallly the later trunk would solve any fitment issues with the later center section. Pretty sure the later tail lamps will fit the earlier car. Don't know if the wiring is the same, but I bet not if bulb count is different.apossiblehybrid wrote:you should just get the trunk and the taillights if you want your rear end to look like that.
Hey im on it.Im just saving money for it right now.I might get some off a 94 or new ones.I rather go with the 94 though comes out cheaper and more affordable. I havn't forgot them though cant let my baby die!maxnix wrote:If you don't repair your timing chain guides soon enough, then it's all moot.
I would buy it but im sticking with the 93 tails i got.i will be polishing them once i get everything else done.elwesso has a point on the tails though. Thanks though.dfowler wrote:Hey homie, I got an extra 1994 Q45 that I'm, parting out. Tail lights, headlights, side markers, everything on the stock 94 Q45 I got!!! Parting out my old 1994 Q45. Holla back, I think the rear light will fit with a lil modification. Overhang, smoverhang, if you want it to work and look like stock, then a little time and little money can get you the results your looking for.
