simple wiring question

I know I must be misunderstanding or misreading the HT instructions for the engine bay harness because I can't understand one of the wires. It states:

SR - Black / Red & Blue / Red (Note: connect 2 wires to 1) <connects to>KA - Black / Red stripe Am I supposed to wire three wires into one? Or was this mistyped and I should wire the Bk/R and the R/Bl on the CA side to the Bk/R on the KA side?
