Simple Rear brake issue

Trying to get the piston back in the caliper, the dust boot keeps spinning with the piston. Is this an issue? I really don't want to have the piston seize on me later on.

stock caliper? Not sure if this answers your question but I'll sell you a remanufactured one that was on my car for two months before it was totalled w/ceramic pads for 75 shipped.... [email protected] complete w/mounting bracket s13 standard rear caliper... lmk

that's normal. are you using the special tool for rear calipers right?

Slide the calipers off the Rotor.

Remove the pads.

Go to Autozone, you can rent a piston spreader tool~Or just buy one.

Piston tool......or the needle noseIf I remember correctly, my boot didn't spin with the piston.

I got the piston back in, it's just the boot twisted with the the piston
