Hello guys, i'm from Costa Rica and have a 240sx S14 SE zenky.

motor is all stock, with 170psi compresion in each cilinder, honestly I think the motor is pretty healthy.

I want to make some mods to my motor, win some whp but a can't make my mind.

going turbo (SR20DET) or stick with the KA24DE n/a.

This weekend i'm getting some dyno runs just to see some numbers and to set up a little bit the timing.

What are the first mods that can may be made to my KA24DE???

-WAI?-header?-2.5" exhaust?

any ideas or suggestions on how much is my ka24de will win with this mods?? whp?? torque??

Open opinions!!!!

WELCOME TO NICO...btw sick ride. well the common easy mods are intake header, exhaust, tune up. the best header for the ka is the hotshot. u can save 150$ and get the obx. those are the 2 best ones. intake do aem or injen. exhaust u can spend alot or a little. i got custom 2.5 from a shop cost 100. do the basic tune up ka's like ngk v powers (there cheap too)...again welcome

Without boost the KA is not a #'s whore so IMO I would say replace all the stock bushings on the car with the Energy Supsension Poly Bushing Kit. Get a better Spring/Strut set up and make sure everything else on the car is tip top before you go trying to make it all fast. This car handles like a monster so captialize on that.

another option besides i/h/e that is mentioned sometimes is to get lightweight flywheel/driveshaft. ive heard good things from people that have done that on nico.

So, if I decide to go for the turbo, do I stay with the stock ECU with a piggy back like a SAFC II, NEO apex, emanage, or should a change it to a JWT ECU?? and which JWT ECU should a use??

Thanks for the replies!
