What exactly are you having trouble with?

If you mean the halfshafts are spinning when you're trying to get the 6 bolts off, all you need to do is pull the e-brake.

If you're having trouble getting the the bolts off themselves, make sure you're using the right tools. You need one 12mm wrench and another 12mm wrench or ratchet. If you're having trouble, use wd-40 or some other degreaser.

This is all pretty basic stuff, but I wasn't 100% sure of what you were asking. Try to avoid using pronouns when you're trying to explain your problem. Good luck.

Just pull the ebrake and you should be good to go since I'm assuming you're saying the axle is spinning when you try to loosen the bolts.

what are you doing replacing the shaft? there should only be 4 at the differential and 2 for the center bearing coupling bracket. it should slide right out. dont touch the ones with the rubber padding thats for shock absorbtion.

its the half shaft. the thing that connects the differential to the wheel. sorry about not explaining it properly.. the reason im replacing it is because it has about 200k miles on it and i broke it while drifting. anyways, i cant just pull the e-brake to stop it from rotating because when the half shaft broke, it torqued and broke the spindle, which i subsequently took off before i removed the bolts that connect the half shaft to the diff. i guess ill take another look at the halfshaft because yes i have been trying to take it off from the rubber part. oops. thanks for the responses guys :D

if its manual, put the car in gear, and pull up the ebrake.

the ebrake will stop the opposite wheel from spinning backwards, and the trans will not turn in gear, allowing you to remove the bolts.

if its auto, put it in park.

oh the axle. no youre right 6 bolts at the diff and 1 nut with a cotter pin at the wheel. clean it and use PB blaster its essential for stuck bolts. i'll never go without it again.
