I just picked up a set of 15 inch Simmons wheels (wheel company from australia). Anyone ever heard of them?

http://www.simmonswheel.com.au/

Also, would someone please double check my math on the offset. I used the equation:

offset = backspacing - *rim width*/2

Front: 15x7 4.5 inch backspacing = 13mm offsetRear: 15x8 5 inch backspacing = 13mm offset

These are the wheels:

How is this going to sit on an s13 (as far as being flush/past the fender)? And does anyone have any suggestions of where I can take these to be disassembled and re-painted? I'm not sure of the process of taking apart a multipiece wheel... Is it possible/safe to do myself? How is it sealed?

I want to get them painted black or grey like this:

Thanks in advance,Sean

ive heard of simmons before, but i forget where ive seen them at. it was most likely in a mag where ive heard of them. if youre on a budget, i would paint the face my self. although, i wouldnt take it off and dissassemble the whole wheel. i would do a really nice tape job to make for a flawless respray. where did you find those at and how much did you get them for?? if i could find some in 16'' exactly like the ones you have, my car would be bangin! do you ever go to the nissan meets around here? i would love to see those in person and on your car. good luck with whatever you decide to do.

got them off ebay for $450. I come out to the wednesday night University Blvd. and Alafaya Trl. meet from time to time. I work valet at the Marriott downtown most nights though, so I don't get out till 11 or 12. That s14 looks really nice too Are you on Florida Drift?

I've never heard the name Hilbert mentioned before... he might be higher up in the company, but my immediate boss is Ricky, and his superior is some guy named Dan. The owner of the Marriott is Mark... thats about all I know as far as management.

I too am a dedicated Nico member (moderator and huge poster ) but its nice to have a local forum for setting up meets and swapping parts like that. You should really check it out sometime if you plan on attending any of the local Florida drift events as they aren't usually posted on Nico.
