Team Orange drifts a Silvia truck...I think they call it the Silcamino. I tried to look up info on it once, but could only find pictures.

i thought about doing it, bc my hatch broke. So i was thinking about taking off the hatch and the quarterpanel windows and making a new rear window and bedliner to fit the rest of it. It would elminate the rear seats because i was going to have the wall come down right at the roof. But i lost the time to do it.

This is the only pic I can find (I actually have a drift video with both a 180SX and an R32 truck conversion):

I saw the orange one in person at Hot Import Nights a few months ago. It was a pretty clean job, but it had a cage to and im sure more frame stiffening because of the lack of a C pillar. It definitely looks good though, Ive also seen a video of a MK3 Supra Truck. Id love to have a S13 truck myself, go for it and report back!

JimmyMethod, I second your opinion. I saw the Sil-Truck a while ago... and while it was novel, it was one of those, "Wow, I can't believe someone actually did that."

wat if they want em mixed? some people are partial like that I think Sil-camino's look excellent. and I'd be able to fit more people in the back though it wouldn't be as safe (for them)

Me? driving a turbo Sil-camino with plenty passengers on the back?

ahhhhhhhhhh the screams...then the dreaded*fump-whump*

Have you ever actaully seen the Sil-Truck? You can put MAYBE two people in there. IMHO, it looks too much like a Subaru Brat. Might as well raise the damn thing and put Baja tires on it.

It may look good to some people but I think its a terrible thing to ruin an S13 chasis when we are slowly running out of them as it is.

you can fit more than 2 people on there, trust I, I'm in the Bahamas...people used ta hoppin on the baskova truck...you can fit like 8-9 people in a S13 as it is (not comfortably of course) so a camino can hold the same amount or more.

the fump-whump would come from the car tailgating you....cuz that's all people do....suck right onto your rear bumper unless you pick up the pace...

and again, it's all a matter of opinion. I like the Sil-camino and you can't change my mind. Why try to change it in the first place?

I'm trying my hardest not to buy a usdm 240SX. left hand drive ees a bad thing driving on the left side of the road. So you keep your dwindling S-chassis....I'll raid Japan , cuz it's cheaper than converting a 240 to rhd...

I'd rather have a black skyline "cruck" anyways .

I've seen the team orange sicamino drift at an event (DX2) in Toronto. Mr. Kida and Chunki Bai (Signal Auto) got in the back for a lap. They had to hold on the the roll cage for dear life. BUT IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
