Hey guys, Right now im planning on a front end converion. I was thinking either R32 or S13. I have a 1992 Nissan 240Sx SE Coupe. I wanted to know is it a bolt-on thing? Would I half to do some cutting? What about the R32 Taillights? Do that fit? Would I have to bondo some? Does anyone have pics of R32 Tails on a Coupe; because that would help allott. Thanks guys. PS: if anyone has any information just post it up. How to do it, whats needed, etc.

white ones a gtr. that white one looks like it lines up pretty nice. if you want to make it look good you can cut off your existing 240 fenders and weld it onto the gtr fenders to it lines up perfect but its tedious. im not sure abou tthe hood fitting but in that picture it looks like an oem hood/bumper so you should be fine.

the red one is an ugly gts

HOLY TEH SHAT! That white hatch is unreal! Longchamps XR-7s, R32 GT-R front, AND a CA18! PERFECTION!

On a side note, if you ever get this conversion complete, let us know! I want a Silvia front, but it is too overdone.

You want something, but arent going to do it because other people do it? Thats just as bad as doing something because other people do it in my opinion.

Hot White GTR though

The GT-R front end definately looks great on the hatch. I've never really seen it done.

This might seem stupid but it's 'would I haveto do some cutting.' Sorry, I've been writting a paper due tommorow and that's the mind set I'm in.

I just get tired of seeing the same thing. 240SXs are the new Civic but that fact gets old sometimes. I don't want it because it is overdone, not because someone else has done it. Hence why I have a CA, and Manaray wheels, I got ARC stuff instead of GReddy or Blitz....I like having at least some modicum of originality with my car.

I agree that the white hatch is pretty sick.

It will NOT be a small undertaking though, you're going to have cutting, bondo, blah blah blah.

Give a professional body place a blank check or don't do it at all.

What kind of costs are we talking? I can't imagine more than a few hundred. Beans compared to the final product. Why spend $2k on a S15 front (overdone to teh maxX0r) when you can get THAT.

the tailights will be pretty hard unless you have the skyline trunk and other metal piece thingy....I've never done it but thats just what i hear, there is a pic of it in one of the past issues of SCC with the rb25 in the s13 coupe.

I know that dont help much...i tried!

Yes, 240's are the new civic, they are all FWD and they have made about 400,000 every year since 1973.....

I still dont think the lines of the 240 hatch match the R32 GTR front. If you somehow got the rear of a R32 GTR and welded/bonoed that onto the rear of a coupe, it would fit.

But the angular squareness of the R32 is hard to match to any other car...

if you notice on the white hatch, he used 240sx fenders (look at the molding line towards the bottom, where the black tape stuff usually is) and just cut them to fit... using r32 fenders, like on the maroon one, looks like *** and doesnt line up.
